When you get onto a webpage that makes you register and you want to know where the info goes, read on....

My daughter, Jo, is looking for her first house and I like to hunt the realty sites so I came across one site for which I needed to register. I am rather reluctant to give out my biographical info so I used my University email and made up a name that any live person would know, beyond a doubt, was fictional.

For their purposes, my alter ego was Maya Asshole.

I kid you not.

And, yes, the spam mail is coming in addressed to Maya, Maya Asshole, Ms Asshole, and, I must confess the giggle, Dear Asshole.

Some of it gets filtered but, if your mind is twisted similarly to mine, go ahead and give yourself a Bart Simpsonesque alter ego, my faves are Maya (fill in the blank,) Butreeks, Butkiss, Seymore Butts. I.P. Freely, be creative.
